Trimester 1:

AIRDRO 10l Fundamentals of Drones

  • Introduction to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
  • Basic Aerodynamics and Flight Principles for Drones
  • Drone Types and Applications
  • Drone Safety and Regulations

Trimester 2:

AIRFAA 107: Part 107 Certification Preparation

  • FAA Part 107 Regulations and Requirements
  • Airspace Classification and Regulations
  • Drone Operations and Crew Management
  • Weather and Aviation Safety

Trimester 3:

AIRDRO 102: Advanced Drone Flight

  • Advanced Drone Flight Maneuvers
  • Aerial Photography and Videography
  • Surveying and Mapping with Drones
  • Drone Maintenance and Repairs

Trimester 4:

DROPRO 102: Specialization and Capstone

  • Drone Pilot Specialization (e.g., cinematography, agriculture, inspections)
  • Capstone Project: Real-world drone application in the chosen specialization
  • Graduation and Career Development

Students have to contact the school administration if they want to take extra credits or transfer credits to pursue the Diploma Certificate or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree in their field of interest.  Students will select required number courses in each of the areas listed to meet general education requirements graduation for the A.A.S.  Some of these courses can be transferred directly from and to the university system and may be substituted for recommended courses on the outline.  Students should speak with an advisor before doing so these selective courses are required for all students.
