  • Courses in the first year focus on building a strong foundation in optician technology, including eye anatomy, optical principles, and frame fitting.
  • The second year includes more advanced courses in lens processing, laboratory techniques, and allows students to specialize in areas of interest.
  • The clinical internship and capstone project provide students with hands-on experience and the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real opticianry settings.

Upon completing this program, students will be prepared for careers as Optician Technicians, Optical Lab Technicians, or Optical Sales Specialists. Students will have the knowledge and skills required to assist optometrists and opticians, dispense eyewear, and work in optical laboratories.
